Medicaid waiver
In a July 2026 campaign video, with the transcript posted on his website, he says Florida has failed families with special needs for years, that the wait list for services is over 10 years, that managed care continues to reduce health benefits, and that independent living, employment, and education opportunities are scarce. He calls tackling this a central commitment of his campaign.

Last checked 2026-09-23His campaign website's issues page says Medicaid supports care for people with special needs and unique abilities, among other groups, and that Florida should expand Medicaid. The statement concerns Medicaid broadly and does not specifically address the iBudget waiver.
